Helicopter Game: The Ultimate Casual Flying Adventure
Helicopter browser games come in many different shapes and sizes. Some helicopter games have realistic 3D graphics and allow you to engage in deadly combat in the sky. Other helicopter games feature arcade platform style gameplay with retro graphics and fun side-scrolling flying mayhem. Whatever the genre, helicopter games are a heap of fun and provide a different type of experience to other driving/vehicle simulation games. After the Perseverance Mars rover landed on the Red Planet, it placed the Mars helicopter in its first takeoff location on the surface of the planet. You can specify a take-off location for your helicopter by creating scripts that place it at a certain location at the beginning of the game.
The Perseverance Mars rover is depositing sample tubes filled with rock samples on the surface of the Red Planet that could be collected by Ingenuity-like helicopters for return to Earth on a small rocket. You can give players a task by adding Mars sample collection tubes that need to be collected.
The Mars helicopter is a technology demonstration mission. It will help NASA prove that a helicopter can fly on Mars, something that has never been done. Mission success for the Mars helicopter will be achieved when it makes its first controlled flight on Mars.
LHX Attack Chopper is a combat helicopter simulation game published by Electronic Arts in 1990. Development was led by Brent Iverson who later designed Chuck Yeager's Air Combat. The game was released for MS-DOS and ported to the Mega Drive/Genesis.
In addition to the LHX prototype scout-attack helicopter, the game includes two flyable US Army helicopters, the AH-64A Apache and UH-60 Blackhawk, and another prototype (as of 1990), MV-22 Osprey (which can actually switch between helicopter and airplane control modes), any of which may be deployed against Soviet-made ground and air military equipment in the three war theaters of Libya, Vietnam and Germany. Allied units are also available, but they do not actively join the fight, nor do the opposing units usually fire upon allied equipment, apart from specific escort missions where a B-2 bomber or a couple of UH-60 tasked with CSAR will enter into enemy air space. All missile-equipped units (both ground and air) have a limited number of shots, often matching the number of ready-to-fire missiles available in the real system. Land units do not move but air units do.
At the debriefing, given the mission outcome, the pilot may receive different medals or a promotion up to Colonel rank. In case the player's helicopter exploded mid-air or crashed, the pilot will die and the player career will end. If landing in enemy territory, different outcomes are available, with the pilot being captured or killed or escaped to friendly territory or rescued by friendly forces.
A 1992 Computer Gaming World survey of wargames with modern settings gave the game two and a half stars out of five, stating that it had a "highly unrealistic flight model".[1] A 1994 survey gave it two stars, stating that "it enjoyed more popular success than I thought it deserved".[2]
In 1994, PC Gamer US named LHX Attack Chopper the 29th best computer game ever. The editors wrote that "what the game lacks in graphic polish it more than makes up for with fast action."[3]

Copter Royale was created in late 2019 by a developer named Exodragon. Despite the game getting uploaded to Coolmath Games somewhat recently, it has become one of the most popular multiplayer games on our site.

The Mars Helicopter, Ingenuity, is a technology demonstration to test powered, controlled flight on another world for the first time. It hitched a ride to Mars on the Perseverance rover. Once the rover reached a suitable "airfield" location, it released Ingenuity to the surface so it could perform a series of test flights over a 30-Martian-day experimental window. The helicopter completed its technology demonstration after three successful flights. For the first flight on April 19, 2021, Ingenuity took off, climbed to about 10 feet (3 meters) above the ground, hovered in the air briefly, completed a turn, and then landed. It was a major milestone: the very first powered, controlled flight in the extremely thin atmosphere of Mars, and, in fact, the first such flight in any world beyond Earth. After that, the helicopter successfully performed additional experimental flights of incrementally farther distance and greater altitude. With its tech demo complete, Ingenuity transitions to a new operations demonstration phase to explore how future rovers and aerial explorers can work together.
Built to be light and strong enough to stow away under the rover while on the way to Mars, and survive the harsh Martian environment after arriving on the surface. The helicopter weighs less than 4 pounds (1.8 kilograms).
The helicopter was designed to fly for up to 90 seconds, to distances of almost 980 feet (300 meters) at a time and about 10 to 15 feet from the ground. That's no small feat compared to the first 12-second flight of the Wright Brothers' airplane.
